Evaluation

I first started off by finding some students from the acting and photography department as "models" that were willing to let me take  some shots of them posed for the magazine cover, with each shot needing different lighting conditions.

I was informed beforehand about using different different light conditions  depending on the models' clothing. For example if one of the models had  a  grey hoodie on I should use  a darker background so it brings out the contrast of the background and foreground. This was a similar thing with darker clothing, use a  slightly brighter background to bring contrast.

The only problem i encountered was easily fixed as some of the "models" were a fair bit shorter than me so I had to get on the same level by going on one knee when taking the shot. I didn't know at the time but after the photoshoot I found out that going on one knee is how the professionals do seated shots. The  issue with going on one knee is that the carpet onto hard floor isn't  a good place to put pressure on as after I had  a pattern of the carpet engrave on my knee.

I do think that I could have done a better job on the text but Photoshop is bad with text as sometimes it crashes the application all together  or doesn't register what I'm typing  but I couldn't really fix it because that's how photoshop was designed.
