In This sub Project I will go over what constitutes Semiotics, including various types of Symbols and Patterns.
So to start off. What actually is Semiotics?
In simple terms,
Semiotics is the systematic study of sign processes and the communication of meaning. In semiotics, a sign is defined as anything that communicates intentional and unintentional meaning or feelings to the sign's interpreter.
Signs have two parts:
Signifier - the Symbol
Signified - the thing itself that is being symbolised
Now that little disturbance is settled, Let's get back to work.
Some people see different signs from the same image, which creates many different meanings for something as simple as a cat for example:
